It’s 4 degrees this morning. HOW did that happen? Do you remember last year, when it went straight from summer to Winter in a matter of days? Think it’ll be the same this year. There’s only a quick window for those Autumnal leaf IG shots!
Ok, i’ll stop talking about the weather now. (It’s the Irish in me). What I’m trying to get to is that it’s time to revamp that wardrobe and get out your heavies.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to darken what you wear on colder days. When I first looked through the Holly & Whyte collection for pieces to photograph,
I went straight for the darker sweaters. I guess I do that naturally, but I love to be challenged style wise. And the fact that there is a yellow chunky knit available for Winter, well, I jumped to it.
I’ve always featured bits from Lindex on my socials and I know from your screenshots that you guys love the kids bits, especially. It’s exciting to be launching a competition with them
and showing you my favourite pieces from their Holly&Whyte collection. Super preppy, comfortable (ALWAYS KEY) and has this cool 60’s vibe going on. The traditional look makes these timeless and these are the kind of clothes I look out for. Yes, I do have bits from current trends, but I think this Textured Sweater is one to keep its wardrobe place for years on end.
…And whatever about living in these chords during the winter, the bits I chose can be brought into Spring too.
For me, the kidswear suits me perfectly. I have had this Cable Knit Cardigan on Harper for a few days now.Her face is hilarious in this photo. She’s like “GET OFF MOM!” This cute Bodysuit and Slim Twill Trousers is perfect for this time of year.
The suit has a nice stretchy feel to it too, which is great because it will last! (I’ve already tried and tested the washing quality and so far so good!)
For the next few days, the lovely Lindex are offering three of my followers the chance to win a £100 voucher to be spent on Lindex.com. Head over to my IG @eimearvarianbarry and simply leave a comment under my most recent photo to enter!
