On June 30th
“…how do you do it?!” I don’t. I’m constantly ,unbelievably tired. Which is like, seriously unhealthy for body and mind. I’ve quit trying to DO IT ALL and the decision to sleep (some) nights instead of working the minute the girls go to bed is making the difference Emails, collaborations, lookbooks, Instagram, website work, mood boards, pitches, contracts, research, reading, writing, planning. I made what I wanted to come true. (still don’t know what my occupation is) Now after 3 years of this, well, it’s been amazing but jaysus. Tiring. But the motivation to push myself harder comes from a really deep place in that I will strive to do what I love for a living, forever. And I really want to inspire others to do the same. You know, honestly I always think to myself I will probably find myself back on my hands and knees someday, scrubbing that filthy restaurant floor. But at least now I know what I am capable of when I dream and trust my gut. I guess what I’m really trying to say is there are only so many cakes you can bake in a day. Ya know?!
On June 29th
I know my mom followers will know this constant hunch too well Between lifting Harper, lifting Saoirse (a lot lately on the street since she’s gone from the pram and still gets tired and gives up so over the shoulder she goes) Up and down cleaning stuff off the floor, picking things up so Harper won’t put them in her mouth. I could go on…Basically, the muscles in my back are SCREWED. But it’s all worth it. These beautiful, comfortable shorts are from Piajeh a local boutique which I found here in Surrey. Live in them.

You’ll have seen me boppin around with this in my IG stories and Snapchat (a lot since Saoirse doesn’t go in the pram anymore) I wrote in my blog post that I didn’t know what heading to give it to to express how impressed I was with it (A PRAM ISN’T JUST A PRAM OKAAAAAY???THERE ARE LOADS ON THE MARKET WHICH ARE LIKE BULLDOZERS) Ahem. So one of my favourite independent kids stores online is having a pop up at one of my favourite physical stores in my favourite English village. Wuuuuuut. I don’t even know where to start with telling you how much I love @decobabyuk -Cath has her gorgeous interior products available at @_andhobbsuntil July 2nd- trust me – if you like following me and the style I’m into, you’l love this whole marrying of beautiful brands Supporting small businesses around where I’m living is really important to me and I have a load of stuff from her store including this gorgeous play mat, shelving unit and wooden toys. She also ships worldwide. I wish I drove so I can get down to her, but for those who do, seriously, Shere is AMAZING. The Holiday was filmed there
