When approached by Dorothy Perkins to style my favourites from their summer stock, I couldn’t wait to delve into their site and see what their vibe was these days. Three cuppa’s and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange later, I had taken tonnes of screenshots of pieces which I could immediately see in my wardrobe.
The new direction they are taking as a brand is admirable. Keeping their staples, but introducing different little pieces here and there, which I think really stand out. I love to work with an digitally innovative company who are eager to hold onto their aesthetic, but are on the hunt for a new type of customer, who they are evidently, now pleasing. (Also their social media peeps are ON IT. Good job ladies.) They clearly like to keep their brand relative and hey- perhaps that’s why Dorothy Perkins has been around as long as it has.
As I am currently breastfeeding, I am on the hunt for good lookin’ , comfortable, easy access clothing, which I can dress up or down. This dress ticked all those boxes. Shop here

Also opted for off the White Cotton Poplin Bardot Top and Stripe Linen Trouser which was perfect for the relaxed lunch we had after. This os another outfit which I could see myself wearing daily. I am actually dressing up the White top today with tailored black trousers and red lippie, as I am heading out for Father’s Day lunch! these are the type of clothes I love. Basics, but with a twist, so you can make them work in any occasion.
